Something to look forward to this June

June brings bright summer days and fresh, seasonal flavours. This month, we celebrate Sankt Hans and invite you to experience the sense of community that both sport and food can bring through this month’s experience, Sports That Unite. You can also look forward to a special day in your canteen dedicated to Korean cuisine. Along the way, we’ll also be treating you to small gastronomic surprises.

3rd of June

Korean Cuisine

We’re kicking off the month by exploring the flavours of Korean cuisine. Korean cuisine is rooted in tradition, craftsmanship, and bold flavours. Sweet, spicy, salty, and sour notes come together in a food culture where fermentation, balance, and community play a central role. Ahead of this Korean theme, your head chef attended a Korean cooking course at Meyers Madhus, taught by Kala Sung, who also curated the dishes for this theme. Through the course, the chef gained insight into the techniques, flavours, and seasonings that characterise Korean cuisine. We look forward to inviting you into the world of Korean cuisine and serving a selection of traditional dishes with authentic flavours and classic techniques. Enjoy.

Sport That Unite

On June 16th you can look forward to a lunch break with a sporty twist, where we celebrate the sense of community and togetherness that sport, as well as food, can bring. Whether you like sports or not it’s hard not to get carried away by the atmosphere that sports create.
